Why I'm building Cultigen.

In about a year, I taught myself from fashion design into engineering, from a first research job at Tsinghua to Brown, RISD, and MIT. None of it came from a normal path. It came from getting my hands on the real thing, early.

I'm a researcher at MIT CSAIL, in human-computer interaction and digital fabrication, the exact craft behind Cultigen's interactives and kits. I've watched brilliant research stay locked in papers, and curious people stay locked out of it.

The best of what we discover almost never reaches the people who would love to learn it. Cultigen is how I close that gap, and put the frontier into everyone's hands.
